When Leo was looking to build a new home behind his current home, he needed to consider the difficulty of access to the site. The transfer of building material from the front of the existing house to the rear, where the new home is being built. Leo is an owner builder. The home is a contemporary design of two stories wrapped around a swimming pool.
The design focused on three-point-one-meter-high walls, large windows, and sliding doors to the swimming pool (constructed with Eco Block ICF). He also wanted a concrete roof and floor. This was important to meet the changing environmental and energy efficiency requirements.
