When Leo was looking to build a new home behind his current home, he needed to consider the difficulty of access to the site. The transfer of building material from the front of the existing house to the rear, where the new home is being built. Leo is an owner builder. The home is a contemporary design of two stories wrapped around a swimming pool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The design focused on three-point-one-meter-high walls, large windows, and sliding doors to the swimming pool (constructed with Eco Block ICF). He also wanted a concrete roof and floor. This was important to meet the changing environmental and energy efficiency requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eco Block’s construction method, known for its superior stability, alleviated Leo’s concern about the structural integrity, especially in this challenging location and environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The decision to use Eco Block ICF was based on the technical support service provided by Tony Dal Bon and the support network that Eco Block ICF has in place. The owner builder built all the walls (300 sqm) and poured the concrete in five weeks. “I can’t believe more people don’t use this system, it’s easy and cost-effective!” says Leo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
